Altostratus.

Altostratus clouds dominate the sky in stripes of grey and blue. The sun is fighting to get through to you but from here, it appears watery.

They indicate the approach of a warm front and signal the start of a downpour. A storm is on its way.

You’ve always been the type to let the weather affect you. Some days, you don’t know how to handle the rain so you sulk in the puddle, letting the water from above, run down your cheek. Lost without the sun, sometimes it feels like the light has left altogether.

But we will keep going. Trusting that the skies will clear again.

Last week, I stood under these clouds and stared off into the nondescript shadow.

Today, I started to see colours within the grey.

Thank you for showing me that I am stronger than I believed I was.
